Quietness

Context:A hymn writer wrote of 'A sweet hour of prayer' that ' took them away from a world of care'. We too need to find this quietness, aloneness, at times, to be with God and ourselves.

Amidst life's commotion
The noises and the blare
My heart, it finds its corner
Far from all that din and glare.

Here dwells, none of the others
Just me and Jesus fair.
It is a quiet little corner
Far from life's noise and care.
