All things pertaining to Life and godliness
To us is granted, it's said.
But insults, distress, persecutions...
How do these come in step?

O'er these seeming contradictions
I've often broken my head.
But now an answer seems to glimmer
This before you I'll set:

Is not living in heavenly
places
(There we're abiding, do know!)
Living for the gospel of Jesus
And not for our personal ado?
4.
How can this, a jail, ever
arrest?
Or rejection, ever subdue?
For greater the pain or the
pressing
Better the fragrance ensues.

Are you mute before the public?
Your life will speak more than
your words.
Your observing brethren, will be
emboldened
And carry the Message, renewed.
6.
So your circumstances can place no limit
For fulfilling His will in you.
So all things pertaining to Life
Has He not granted, to you?
